If there’s one word to describe my experience at Melia Kuala Lumpur, it’s extraordinary. I stayed here for 3 nights with my wife, and while we’ve stayed at many hotels across the world, this particular experience stood out not just for the comfort, ambiance, or luxury — but because of the people behind the scenes, especially Mr. Thiruvarasu and Mr. Navin Silvaraju, two managers who completely redefined what hospitality means. From the very beginning, both Mr. Thiruvarasu and Mr. Navin made us feel not like guests — but like VIPs. Their approach to service wasn’t robotic or rehearsed like you often see in luxury hotels. It was genuine, warm, and personal. They took time to speak with us, check in regularly, and ensure that everything was perfect down to the smallest detail — and they did this without ever being intrusive. You could feel that they weren’t just doing a job — they were passionately leading a team that truly cared about every guest. I’ve never met hotel managers who are so present, proactive, and sincere. Their professionalism is world-class, but more than that, their human touch left a lasting impact on us. The view from our room was stunning, the property itself is beautiful, and everything ran smoothly — but it was the service that turned this into one of the best hotel stays of our lives. Melia KL is not just another 5-star hotel. It’s a place where the management sets the gold standard for hospitality, and it reflects in the way every single staff member treats you. If you’re coming to Kuala Lumpur, I’d say skip the usual choices and go for a stay that will surprise you — in the best way possible. Thank you to Mr. Thiruvarasu and Mr. Navin for making our stay so special. We’ll always remember your kindness and care.

This was my second stay at the Melia KL, the last being in 2011. Not a lot has changed, which is actually a good thing. We were initially given a king room despite requesting twin beds (mother and daughter travellers) but that was quickly rectified after returning to the reception desk. Rooms are an excellent size, and didn't feel cramped at all. Location was excellent but the emergence of Grab since my last visit meant we relied less on public transport and more on that for transport. Breakfast buffet was good, plenty of choices, and a necessity when you're used to getting up early and Asian countries tend to not get going until later in the day.

Our room was very comfortable , great linen , superb bathroom and an extra toilet which was very handy. Everything was kept spotless ...well done housekeeping !. Did'nt get to use the pool but it looked very tempting !. Staff throughout this Hotel were a credit to the Melia brand, always smiling and very courteous and helpful. The staff at the Level lounge and reception at the Level were fantastic throughout. My only negative was that breakfast in the Kitchen restaurant was very crowded & noisy and we felt the selection of food were limited for western tastes. Regardless ,we had a wonderful stay at the Melia and would stay again , and recommend.

Great location, near public transport and lively area with street food, but at the same time not in the middle of the chaos. All the staff was extremely nice and professional. The room (Level Floor) was spacious and bright, with all the comforts (including a choice of pillows). Only a balcony were missing to reach perfection. I also had access to the Level Lounge, where coffee and snacks were always available, and it was facing the pool.

Room was spacious and clean. Shower and bathrooms were nice, clean and spacious too. Did not get to try their pool or breakfast, so no comments on those. Easy access to Times Square right in front through the MRT escalators and stairs. Convenient location and easy access (often walking distance) to TRX mall, Pavilion, Low Yat Plaza, BB Park, etc. There's a 7-11 next to it which helps a lot. Staff are friendly.
